I have been busy so my updates have been short and my responses to others have been...well...not much I fear. I apologise, but you are all always in my thoughts.
My friend
Kelli hosts a Show and Tell Friday every week. Please feel free to join in.
I made some bears for my friend Kristin's children. I had never made them before. The first one I made didn't turn out well at all. Kat wanted it, so I gave it to her.
I had also made Jonathan a quilt.
I gave Kristin the quilt on October 28th. On November 1st, Kristin had an appointment. Jonathan's heartbeat was 100 when it should have been between 130 to 160. He was dying. Kristin was 36 weeks along. They decided to go ahead and induce on Saturday, November 3rd and hope to have at least a few minutes with their son. Unfortunately, that morning, no heartbeat was found. Jonathan had died.
They induced Kristin and Jonathan was born at 12.47am on November 4th. I made the middle bear and the bear on the left with the leaves and flowers for Kristin's two girls because I didn't want them to feel left out. I decided to make one for Jonathan as well. I did Jonathan's (the one on the far right) last Thursday except for stitching the hole used to stuff the bear. I did some of the other two on Tuesday and finished them today. I hope they like them.
You can read about Jonathan and his family

Psalm 139:13-15
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
He Maketh No Mistake by A.M. Overton
“My Father’s way may twist and turn
My heart may throb and ache;
But in my soul I’m glad to know
He maketh no mistake.
My cherished plans may go astray,
My hopes may fade away;
But still I’ll trust my Lord to lead
For He doth know the way.
Though night be dark and it may seem
That day will never break;
I’ll pin my faith, my all, on Him
He maketh no mistake.
There’s so much now I cannot see,
My eyesight’s far too dim;
But come what may, I’ll simply trust,
And leave it all to Him.
For by and by the mist will lift,
And plain it all He’ll make;
Through all the way, though dark to me
He made not one mistake.”
