The good: I have a new heater

The Ugly: It cost me $600 it could have been worse though.

The Bad: It doesn't look good for my cat. His Kidney's aren't doing much and the
bladder may be stretched out and unable to function. They are trying to
bring his electrolytes back into balance but that may or may not help.

Glad you got a new heater. Hate that you had to go through it catching on fire a second time to get it.

Sorry to hear about Bagheera. Would any of this have been a result of his dealing with that infection from the holes in his ass for so long? Hope he gets better soon. *hugs*

Well we talked to another tech and he says that very likely the board in the old heater is bad and sending to much fuel into the fire chamber causing it to blow the gasket. So in this case the old tech did okay he would have had no way of knowing the control board was wonky. Either way I have a heating system that has been rebuilt to like new specs and has a years warranty
