Well, my cat is gone. There was no way he could recover from what happened. He was a good cat and I’ll miss him very, very much. According to the vet there was nothing really that could be done. It was a total miracle that he made it through the night. I don’t think I’ll get another cat, at least not for a while.

The good: I have a new heater

The Ugly: It cost me $600 it could have been worse though.

The Bad: It doesn't look good for my cat. His Kidney's aren't doing much and the
bladder may be stretched out and unable to function. They are trying to
bring his electrolytes back into balance but that may or may not help.

Life just keeps getting better. Not only did my heater catch on fire for the second time, which means I have to spend money to replace it. Now my cat is at the vet’s office. Apparently he has a urine blockage (something male cats a prone to). I’ve already got a $300 vets bill so far and it may be more, assuming he survive. I hope he’ll be ( Read more... )
