I really enjoyed the contest. I also give permision to make or be inspired by any of my entries:) I am still trying to profect my custom skills...still have a ways to go. So look to the spring/summer of 2009 for the next contest? It was alot of fun:) Cant wait to try again!
I'm not surprised by the similarity of the themes. I've actually made both a city at night pony and an aurora borealis pony a couple of years ago as well as a constellation pony (which sort of fits in with the night sky thing). That's partly why I didn't come up with anything despite the cool theme. I couldn't think of anything original enough to suit me. :)
I was very shocked on how close some of the drawings were. I like the idea of adding a few more contests/categories. I think it will help with driving people out of the box:)
