I got Led Zeppelin's greatest hits this weekend, and now I get it. So that's why Bonham is the drum hero. Oh my lord, he's amazing! Just the way he did this... oh and when he did the thing and the other thing... oh my

Yay, John Paul Jones. It's about damn time someone paid him some attention. Page and Plant get all the attention, but it's the rhythm section of this band that's really spectacular.

That said, I'm totally attracted to Jimmy Page while he was with the Yardbirds. Not that it's relevant, but hey. It's the frock coats and tight pants. Never a bad deal.

I forgot to put something about Page in the entry above. I should correct that. My first exposure to him wasn't Zep but an 80s "supergroup" he did with Paul Rodgers (of Bad Comapny Fame) called The Firm.

But yeah... frock coats. I might be wrong, but I'mt hinking there was a memorable entry in your journal that involved pic-spam on the subject. :D
