So last week gracie_musica and I went to my bass teacher's gig on Thursday. I had a great time, and she said she did, too. It was the first time for me to see him perform since the gig of his I went to over a year and a half ago when I had just become his student. I heard on the radio this morning during the "today in rock" segment that today is Adam's birthday. Happy birthday, Adam! *throws birthday confetti*

Meanwhile, sorry not to have updated in over a week. There've been several things that happened, some good, some not. I'm still "around" even if you can't see me, though. :)

With apologies to the love of my life, I am now in love John Paul Jones. And John Bonham.

Yes, folks.... it's the 16th of Flea-tober. Happy birthday, Flea! I hope it's absolutely bass-tastic, just like you. :D

Today was an absolutely beautiful day, and I went off to town to buy a new dress and shoes (very girly), some groceries (necessary), and some new music inspired by recent discussions with ridiculii. I got the compilation all of this and nothing by the Psychedelic Furs.

Oh my gosh, I love this version of "One" by Mary and U2! I've been playing it over and over and over.
