I'm a history nerd, so I love the setting and the little details, as well as the take on all the characters.
Poor Pietro! First Claude snaps at him and then he gets raped by his brother who he had so much love and trust for.
Wonderful job, and I can't wait to see where you take this. :)

Eeeeeh.
Man, your Nathan is dark.
Still really enjoying the story, even if Natanaele's freaked me out a bit.

But this was kind of sweet:
eventually they had fallen into a strange pattern of companionship that mostly consisted of Pietro talking a mile a minute and Claude listening and ridiculing at appropriate moments. - That relationship pretty much in a nutshell.
What I like about this story is that even though sometimes I'm like "look away, look away, it's too terrible!" I still keep reading. It's very compelling stuff.

Only kind of? I'm not doing my job right (I want to put a silly face here, but somehow, knowing what I've got written above, it juuuuust doesn't seem right).

Of course not. Can't see through that at allllllll.
"And back then, sex wasn't really about sex, it was about power..."
I think it's always been that way, at least to some. And if anyone was going to use sex for power its Natanaele. At least that's how I saw it.
