Apparently I had one drink too many last night because this headache is not going away.
It was fun visiting with my favorite teachers and riding the cruiser home in the dark.
Tomorrow we leave for Mexico...again.

Also,
we put in an application to adopt an adorable pit/lab mix.
I'm beside myself with excitement.
Hopefully we'll get her.

Some things that I've discovered are not lame...
putting almonds in the blender when making smoothies so they get ground up in the mix
and
Trader Joe's garlic and tomato sauce as salad dressing.

Today was the perfect summer day.
Early morning run,
killer surf session,
library and downtown wanderings with Phylo,
sunset bike ride with the boy.

Tomorrow I pick up my mama and sister for a girls only birthday weekend in the city.
I am thankful for this life that I have.

Most fun surfing I've had in ages.

This weekend was for
bike rides,
running,
Rock Band BBQ,
napping in the hammock,
nakedness.
