Ya know. If I wasn't working my way through a bag of cherries, I'd be completely drooly right now. Especially since I found a dead peach in the kitchen (it was really, most sincerely dead)...I guess I'd be double drooly.
But, cherries or not, now I'm craving cobbler somethin' awful. I hope it cools down a bit tomorrow, so I won't feel dumb for baking. :)
I've almost got to the point now where I don't buy peaches anymore because they are so often dissapointing. Mostly becuase they've been picked before they're ripe and then "ripened" during sotorage, transport and in the shop so they aren't juicy enough and have little flavour. The same goes for apricots. We just don't have the climate to grow them ourselves here. Maybe that's the reason for moving back home!
