Watching the election results last night and the elation and speeches that came after, I found myself moved. I did not think words had the power to do that for me anymore. I'm really hopeful to see a better integration now that we have this landmak in history. i see african descended people in england and there is no difference between them and caucasians. it baffles me!
on to prop 8, arizona and florida both had propositions similarly aimed, and all 3 passed.
while blacks are free at last, the gays now seem to be the redheaded step-children. =(
