I've been dragging my feet to get around to my games from Nationals. Mostly, it's because most of the games were blowouts one way or the other and Quackling them, I didn't learn anything after the fact. the games I am choosing to post are going to fit into one of the following categories:

I would ask what Quackle thinks of passing up SKINNER for INK, but the duck doesn't do too well simming blocking plays. The remaining tiles don't look too bad and there's still a bingo lane on the bottom. It'd be tough for him to block since if he plays to the TWS, you can use whatever letter he sticks out. If he blocks by playing under the K, he's potentially setting up a 3x3.

How about playing 8L (I)NK? It's 9 less than at 10L but would certainly get his attention and be a pain to block. It also allows you to look for bingos starting or ending with the S while picking up an additional 24 points.

Also, shame on you for allowing AWEARIES*. It doesn't make sense as a plural and you should really have your 5 vowel 8s down by now.

Was Luise low on time? I can't imagine what her inner pitcher was for CUR. (And if she's set on playing off UR, there's SAGER/RUE for 16.)

Thanks for posting these.

She had a lot of time actually. Maybe she thought she was blocking some big play, or some easy score like FIZ if she didn't have the F at the time. It was definitely a play that gave her no shot (or at least not much of one) to win the game.
