Into the Woods was INCREDIBLE. OMG, really really good acting, and the staging was phenomenal. Some overacting, but it was played at least partly as a farce (the two Princes specifically--they were hilarious!), and really, it's community theatre, so I wouldn't expect professional-level performances. Oooh. When I was still a singer, I sang three songs from that musical for recitals. Ooooooh. But yeah, Baker's lament? WAAAAAAAAAAA.

I'm glad you like it! They did it for the MAC here and it ended up being REALLY professional. Most of the people in it were Uni students (since we're in a Uni town) and the director was a professor at the Uni. I got a part, unfortunately not what I wanted (Granny/Giant), but it was a learning experience. And still a fantastic performance. :D
