First day back at work

So I went in to my classroom today to get some stuff done. I'm glad I did; I've got the room arranged differently again (tables pushed together to form "pods" of four; we'll see how long that lasts) and am starting to get a handle on my organisation. I went through the Skills Intervention Kit (read: worksheets for more basic skills kind of stuff)

Calendar template....hmm. Tony is asleep or I'd ask him, but I'm pretty sure one does exist because syncing calendars is one of the things he has to do. I think in Entourage.

And there is iCal in OSX Leopard.

I really, really want to see it for the FIRST time. :) Speaking of math, I have absolutely no idea what Girly is going to do this year. Because she was in Ramp Up, does that mean she has to take 7th grade math, even though she's going into the eight grade? She's feeling a little stressed about it, too.

By the way, I looked at your pictures from England. Damn, I want to go so bad! Grrr...

Good luck! I just finished my first week of school (with one hurricane day off, thanks EVER so much Fay), and I'm cautiously optimistic about this year.
