Mmm, a very nice start to my weekend. =) I especially like how their mindlink isn't a big deal here... no bashful Doctor haltingly explaining things to Rose -- it just happens between them. (Not that I don't like the other sort too, but this is a nice change from the usual.)

The last line is killer especially because Rose was still trying not to expect too much. Once the Doctor makes up his mind, he doesn't do anything halfway. =)

No, he certainly doesn't! Makes a choice, then goes forward with it--and lives with the consequences, good and bad. :) (I think these are entirely good, myself, but that's just me.)

Very well done. I like the whole scence. It shows the human side of the Doctor. Hopefully we can see more of this side. I like this new Doctor. I am a fan of the 1980's one.

Thank you! I'm not well-acquainted with earlier Doctors, but I do like Nine and Ten. (The David Tennant season which aired in the UK last spring is going to air on SciFi starting in late September, btw.)

Very nicely done, no overanalysis of what happened or of whether they should do this or not; it just happens because they both want it. And this is how Gallifreyan/human sex should be done. He's not that different from humans in how he reacts to sexual attraction (snogging Reinette); it makes sense that making love would be the same, too, with the addition of a degree of mental joining as well because he is slightly telepathic, of course. After all, the reproductive act in that form is hardly limited to humans ;) I've read some 'alien sex' stories which I find bizarre and which completely squick me out, but this one just works.

Lovely - and the final lines, as others have said, are just perfect.

Oh, wow, thank you! What a lovely review! I agree with you re: Gallifreyan/human sex. Sometimes I think it'd be fun to experiment a bit with different physiological reactions, but when it comes down to it, I don't think there's all that much a difference.

So glad you enjoyed it! I've not read your most recent fic yet, but I'm looking forward to it. :)
