One of your first fics in a while that didn't make me cry! I thought I was going to but to my own surprise I made it to the end without shedding a single tear! I feel like this just may be an accomplishment of some kind for me. But I guess I've just run out of tears to shed this week.

It was lovely. Even though it wasn't the exact story of the Beauty and the Beast as you had mentioned, I think you captured the essence of the story in a true and beautiful way. Better than the Disney movie did. I think they missed the meaning behind the story all together, actually. Lol

But anyways, another wonderful read from my favourite livejournal (or anywhere) author. Good job again, Ai-chan. I enjoyed this one too. Hehe I enjoy them all. :3

Honestly, I'm really glad that this didn't make you cry, Kennyan. It's just. I really didn't think of this as a tearjerker kind of story, or like angst-angst types that I commonly write. Because, I really think I gave justice to both them. Their separation is actual done through mutual understanding. Both side knew and both side respected and accepted the decisions, even if it blatantly just hurts

We think the same. I was preparing myself for an angst-angst Ai-chan story, so it was a... I don't want to say releif. But this wasn't the tearjerker expected. Although that doesn't mean it wasn't good. I can't say I'm sad because you didn't make me cry. haha. But I agree, justice was indeed given, and you explained the meaning and essence of this story wonderfully
