The night was getting colder. Junsu rubbed both arms in attempt to warm himself. He’d never thought he’d be free, again. But deep down, he knew freedom was short-lived. Bleau would be sending people to track them down sooner or later, and they’ll be on the run. For now, he’d savoured this moment.
Sensing a shiver running up his friend’s spine, Yunho stepped closer and hugged the man, enveloping him with his warmth.
“You feel so warm.” Junsu sighed, resting his head at the crook of Yunho’s shoulder.
“Feeling better?” Yunho ruffled Junsu’s hair slightly. He liked this younger man more than he thought he would. Junsu was bold and shy, and very kind.
“We have to get some money, and I live somewhere here, if I remember correctly.” Junsu’s voice moved against the skin on the side of his neck, which made him stilled for a moment as blood cruised south.
Yunho slid his hands lower to settle on Junsu’s firm, full cheeks squeezing them slightly despite the voice in his head. You can’t do that, the voice said.
They were standing behind waist high railing, looking far into the dark waters of the city’s biggest rivers. Soft waves slapped the walls below them as they stood, frozen in time, thinking for the first time of their future. A bleak future? No, he shouldn’t think like that
“And where do you live?” Yunho asked, nuzzling into the soft mass of hair.
“I forgot the address.” Junsu gave a humourless laugh. “What with me stuck in the lab for five years, but I do remember it’s near T. Boys Academy.”
Yunho pulled away slightly to look at Junsu’s face. “Are you rich or what? That’s one kick ass school you go to.”
Junsu nodded. “But I’m not rich, just smart.” He grinned but soon it disappeared, replaced by a grim line. “Let’s go there now, and keep us warm while we think about what to do next?”
The wind blew their way, playing with Junsu’s hair. “The way you look right now, makes me want to kiss you.”
“Then kiss me.”
“I-I can’t.” Yunho looked away and released Junsu from his embrace. Disappointment painted his innocent face.
“Why? I think I really like you.” Junsu stepped closer.
Yunho ran his fingers through Junsu’s light brown locks. No, he didn’t have straight jet black hair. He didn’t have the huskiness in his voice that he longed to hear. He didn’t have big doe eyes that he wanted to stare at when he woke up in the morning after a wild bout of love making the night before.
Junsu wasn’t him. Period.
“I like you too, but I think I’m still in love with someone whom I don’t know where he is.” Yunho stared at his foot.
Junsu nodded. “You’re pathetic, I was just joking. But if I need a hand, would you do it?”
“Well, if you really need to, I’d fondle them for you.” Yunho winked and the tension between them eased.
“Come on, let’s take a cab.” Junsu shoved both hands into his front pocket and ambled out of the mini park with Yunho trailing behind.
Car after car sped past them. Gradually the headlights started to grow sharper and sharper. Junsu hung his head low as a sudden pang of nausea took over. His legs felt slightly weak as he swayed.
Yunho caught Junsu’s arm before he fell forward. “You’re alright?”
“I feel a little dizzy.” Junsu tightened his grip on Yunho’s wrist. “Is it me or the lights were getting sharper?”
Yunho stared at the oncoming cars. “I don’t see anything wrong.” He leaned Junsu’s weight against his side. “You feel a little hot. Fever?”
Junsu shook his head. Yunho cupped Junsu’s jaw and inspected his face.
“You looked a little flush and your eyes-“ Yunho felt the hair behind his back stood when a speck of golden lines lined his irises. Must be my imagination, Yunho told himself.
“Yunho?” Junsu nudged his ribs.
“Hmm?” Yunho looked at him then at the direction Junsu was pointing. “Oh.”
The yellow cab smelt of pleasant flowers as they got comfortable in the back seat. The driver looked at them through the reflection of the rear view mirror. A flicker of disgust registered in his eyes when Junsu snuggled into Yunho’s arms.
“Take us to the street where T. Boys Academy is.” Yunho instructed and slumped in his seat. The moon winked at him. He sighed.

“You apartment is gorgeous.” Yunho shrugged off his shoes and stepped in as light bathed the rooms though it smelt slightly unpleasant from not airing the house.
“Thanks. But it’s nothing much, really.” Junsu pocketed his keys. He stood beside Yunho and took in every angle. Nothing changed after five years. Duh.
The curtains had collected dust on the top corners. Yunho pulled them back, hooked them through the silver hook at the side. The ceiling to floor windows gave a breathtaking view of the streets below. Farnished, Yunho glanced over his shoulder.
“Got anything to munch on?” Yunho glided his fingers over the top of the sofa.
“No, they’re probably expired and I don’t dare check the fridge. The leftovers are rotten.” Junsu chuckled.
“Definitely.” Yunho sank into the black sofa and rolled his shoulder and rested his head on the head of the sofa.
“I’ll grab some cash and some clothes and we can head to your place.” Junsu said while he made his way to his bedroom. He pulled a backpack from beneath his bed and started stashing underwear, a couple of t-shirt and jeans, and his lock-picking tools. Well, you never know when they might come in handy. He tucked a hundreds of bills from the top drawer of his dresser into the small pocket in his bag and went out.
Yunho sighed. “I don’t know if we should go to my place. My mom would faint.”
“She doesn’t know you went missing, does she?” Junsu said as he bent over to pick a coin on the floor.
Yunho bit back a groan. God, this man was torture. He shook his head, though his eyes still lingered on the exposed skin that showed the top curve of his ass. What a temptation. Yunho chuckled to himself.
“What’s so funny?” Junsu straightened himself and wandered around the hall checking for god knows what.
“If you don’t want me to shag that damn ass, you better be careful.” Yunho laughed when Junsu snorted.
“Whatever. We need to get going and buy from the drive-thru.”
Yunho drew his brows together. “You drive?”
Junsu shook his head. He got up from crouching in front of the flat screen TV and pouted.
“The cab I meant. I don’t even have a car.”
“Did you pay for all this?” Yunho got off the couch and picked up his shoes.
“Well, some. Others I just took from my old home.”
Yunho leaned against the door frame once he was ready. “Where are your parents?”
“Dead.”
“I’m sorry.” Yunho whispered.
“It’s nothing.” Junsu locked the door and they waited for the lift on their floor.
