It was a good weekend. A good 20 year old becoming weekend! It's a very strange feeling to be out of my teens. I started learning stick tonight! I feel so cultured right now! I went down to Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis tonight to watch the Minneapolis orchestra perform a program of Beethoven. They were all pieces I hadn't heard before, but it was great. Classical Japanese poetry is crazy and absolutely impossible to translate. Waka poetry is essentially extended haiku, so 5-7-5-7-7 (syllables per line).
