I stopped reading Salman Khan articles back in April, but still had MANY of them flagged. Now, because of my new job (where I do little more than answer phones, and where an average of five people call every day), I have caught up on reading them, and now am going to (gradually) post the highlights.

Speaking of queer film, I always thought that Sholay belonged somewhere on the homo-erotic end of the homo-social spectrum. I mean, that motorcycle scene?

Hahaha...you're totally not the only one. In fact, there's a company that puts together gay Indian events in NYC, and they called themselves Sholay Productions because of the movie. If I was on my own computer I would be able to find interviews about why they chose that title, but basically it's because it's a buddy movie that can be interpreted as very homoerotic. Good times! Also, I'm totally going to one of their parties one day. Bollywood remixes and drag queens? Yes please.
