So good! OMG! Also? What time is the concert we might go see on the 9th? Because my show is in the afternoon, so I might still be able to go, if it's at night.
The concert's at night. And the reason I was up so late is I was watching "Ugly Betty." My Anne Heche show wasn't on last night. So I decided to start watching Ugly Betty. And now I'm hooked. Oy, I don't need another show to watch . . .
Hee! I'm looking forward to writing it! It's specifically on sexuality in Bollywood, which is pretty interesting...though controversial I guess. Hmm, maybe I'll post it, for you to see...I don't know if other people would be interested in seeing it, though. Maybe I'll post it just for you. Or e-mail it to you or something. But, certainly, if you want to see it, you shall!
Yea, I'm Caucasian. I'm from Baltimore, and now live in DC. If you're asking about my national origin, I'm part German, French, Scotish, and English.
What kind of dance do you do (when you have time)?
Ooh, Im definately looking forward to reading it ^__^
National is what I meant. XD That's awesome. ~How did you get into Bollywood?
Bharatanatyam; Indian Classical. I am also fond of Many others, such as Bollywood/Urban Brown/Fusion/Hiphop & Some Latin Ballroom. Im willing to try anything. ~You?
I've always been really interested in Indian culture, but I wasn't exposed to Bollywood until I went to college, and made a couple of Indian friends (including my Gujurati friend I've told you about and my Sindhi roommate), who introduced me to the joys of Bollywood. They're bad influences, what can I say?
As for dance, I have a background in ballet and modern dance, but I've been doing just Flamenco/Spanish classical dance for a couple of years now. I really, really want to get into Indian dance (bollywood is the most accesible, but I really want to learn Kathak), but that (along with Hindi, etc.) will have to wait until I have the time and money.
As for my essay, are you still interested in reading it, because if so, I'll post it in a you-locked post.
