Yesterday, I spent the evening in DC with my friends because krsnas_favorite had the marvelous idea to go to the local vegan Chinese restaurant. It was a whole group of us, and it was wonderful. Then, we went to kf's apartment (new, lovely apartment!) and watched The Beauty and the Beast (which I totally voted for because of a recent conversation with jacquioh about ( Read more... )

I know what you mean about feeling transient. In the last five days I've gone from sleeping in my apartment in MA, to my Nana's guestroom, to the floor of an apartment in Brooklyn to a bed in my parents' basement in NJ. I'm soo ready to go back to school.

Ahh Beauty and the Beast, excellent choice. "Look there she goes the girl who's strange no question, dazed and distracted can't you tell. Never part of any crowd, cause her head's up on some cloud. No denying she's a funny girl that Belle..."

Sorry bout the whole wisdom teeth thing, that totally sucks. If it makes you feel better I'll be poked and prodded in a doctor's office that same day. Bastards already sucked my blood today. Also when I get back to DC I'll totally come visit you and I won't even laugh if you look like a chipmunk.

Aww for the visiting without laughing...except that you totally will. But I'll forgive you. I swear. I'm hoping that nothing will go wrong and that by the time school starts I won't even be chipmunk-y. I'm really not looking forward to the whole "not eating solid foods" thing. We went shopping for stuff I could eat and it was all sweet, and I love sweet food, but ONLY sweet food for more than a meal? Will make me unhappy. Good luck at the doctor's...

OMG, I just want so badly to be settled for a little while. Almost everyone that I've been talking to lately feels the same way, too. It's kind of amazing how everyone I know is looking forward to school this year.

Also, Beauty and the Beast was an enjoyable choice. Plus, kf's roommate's boyfriend has a thing for Angela Lansbury, which was hilarious, and gave me the chance to tell someone else about how she was once young and hot in a movie called "Harvey Girls" (which, if you've never seen, you should see...everyone should.)!

*ahem* So hot.

Also maybe, if you're good, I'll make you mashed potatoes.

Oooh! What do I have to do to qualify for the mashed potatoes?
