Ah ha! *Ticks him off the list of mysteries* I was comparing them against the sscnapoli.it mugshots, but he's cut all his hair off since last year. Curse them for confusing me.

He has a nice, memorable face though! Plus, he'll be wearing goalie stuff soon enough, so you won't even need to know what he looks like.

Also, what I came back to edit in but couldn't because you'd replied instantly:

1)The pointing is completely bizarre, but not surprising coming from a president who thinks he makes thrilling, epic films.
2)Santana is hugely please you remember him as someone who scores lots of goals, as opposed to a pitiful finisher who wants to kill himself most of the time for not being able to put anything on net. &hearts
3)I was going to compliment your impeccable logic, but now I can't remember why.

But then there's 13 others. :/

1. PLEASE NEVER TELL ME ABOUT HIS FILMS.
2. XD Well, any goal at all being scored for Fiorentina last season was an amazing and memorable event; you can see why it stood out.
3. I feel cheated. Not thinking Miguel Britos was married to Pato, perhaps?

They seem an affable enough bunch. Santana's there, the Swedish Romanian Brazilian Italian fascinates me, I'm spotting plenty of D2 whores (blame them for the Canada branding), I guess I'll pay attention to Napoli next season.

Dumitru's dad is Romanian, his mum is Brazilian, he was born in Sweden and he identifies as Italian. AMAZING OR WHAT.

Ah, DSquared is Canadian? Yikes. As if Nickelback wasn't bad enough.

In my head he speaks at least four languages and has the most amazing accent imaginable!

If only I didn't find the sight of a well manicured Italian or a Spanish player in a shirt with sexual references to rugged logging on it so damn amusing though. The high fashion commercialization of Canada does have its upsides.

YAY A NAPOLI SPAM!
The worst thing the team website ever did was finally learn to use Flash to keep us from getting at the full size photos. *sigh*

Oh dear. Donadel... we did not need another weird hair guy, we've already got a bunch, even if they're (mostly) in summer mode right now.

WHAT IS UP WITH THE ANIMAL MASKS?

*is puzzled by the NotMaggio pic*
I thought maybe it might be Dossena in a rare moment of shaved and not bald, but if it is, he's got new ink... Also, I think I see him in another picture with his usual beard. Are we sure it's not Maggio? It really looks more like him than anyone else. (Although again, the ink...)

Looks like Mannini's back. (Pretty sure that's him with the long hair in a band at the right edge of this pic. Also, that looks to be Dossena above Inler's head ( ... )

Wait, I think NotMaggio is Luca Cigarini, back from loan. I almost forgot about him.

1. The Flash blinkies on the official site drive me completely insane. I've got a short attention span and they're terribly distracting. Alas, the staff seem to have learnt that they're supposed to resize their images before uploading them; you can open them in a new tab, but they're still too damn small.
2. XD! Donadel's a nice man, really. And his hair sometimes looks all right. Occasionally.
3. Well, Inler got presented in one, so now they're all copying him! You wait, there's more coming... (Thank god other teams don't do this or there'd be so much pr0n about it already.)
4. But the two people I think are Maggio are wearing totally different outfits. (Well, not totally, since they're both hideous, but you know what I mean.) So unless he went back to his car and got changed ( ... )

1. I know, it's so sad. They used to just upload both the full size image and the thumbnail, and all you had to do was knock "_th" off the image name to get the full size. But then someone competent took over... :(
3. Yes, but we went from lion to baboon...what's next? *worries*
4. After I posted that, I realized that Cigarini's back from Seville. (I should have checked the official call-up list first, that would have cleared it up right quick.)
5. *cracks up*
7. Maybe he wanted the full name and they told him they couldn't fit 'Diego Armondo Maradona' on a shirt that size?
8. I THOUGHT I WAS THE PARANOID ONE! Really, I would have thought someone would have pulled him aside and said, "I know this is usually what happens, but could we persuade you to go with any other number ending in eight?" After the Buffon kerfluffle, I'm surprised any club is ok with 88.
9. Maybe there will be more whenever they post today's pictures? *is hopeful*

Excellent job! You really need to work on the interchangeable brunettes, tho. You've figured out Mascara, but that mug of his is hard to forget. In some of those pics, I think Mascara is the one with the rolled-up pants legs; in others I think it's Dossena.

I have to applaud the liberal use of sleeveless training tops. There are a few zebras I would like to see dressed in those more often, but the zebra kit man is an idiot. Napoli seems to know what brings the girls to the yard.

*wonders* Does this mean you'll be giving us Inler every week? *licks lips*

1. No shit. I think I might be able to tell two or three of them apart by the end of the season.
2. Couldn't possibly be that it's slightly hotter in Napoli than in Torino, could it? :P You must have noticed that only the southern teams (Roma, Napoli, presumably Lazio) wear the sleeveless tops.
3. Why d'you think I volunteered to rep Napoli? XD

2. Current temp in Turin: 23. In Naples: 24. Here in my special little summer hellhole, at 8:45 am: 31. I don't buy this as an explanation at all, but I don't have a better one.
3. You love him THAT much, then? OK.

2. Yeah, but it makes sense that southern teams are prepared to invest in hot-weather kits and northern teams aren't. (As for your hellhole: oh dear. We're enjoying the sun here, since we don't generally get very much of it. My British skin has just seen the sun for the first time in about five years, and is in shock.)
3. Well, he's now at a team where I can identify half the squad and there's a hilarious calendar and weed and giant dicks and stuff. That's always encouraging.
