That picture is insanely hot, I spent want too long trying to make it into an icon last night (total fail). He's so nice and slim .... *drools a little*

*shudder* I totally agree, I'm sure Deki's talking about, I don't know, training or something. Just very intensely. *nods*

*sigh* I would argue Nico has sexy nothing, but I realize we're desperate for silver lining here.

1. I actually thought the thing between him and Maniche was positive -- like "YOU THE MAN! NO, YOU THE MAN! RAWR!" I don't think they were fighting.
2. I say he need a good week of rest, and for Mancio to be willing to take him off, for the love of god. That will do everyone a world of good, I'm sure of it.
3. Heeeeeee. Prancing too late to help. As usual. *sigh*
5. WHO IS SAYING HE IS FIT?! I want to know what's really wrong with him, because I've been suspicious of this "hole in the knee" thing for a while. It's all way too vague for my comfort.
6. LOLOLOLOL That angle is amazing, I think Suazo is actually like 3' 8".
7. I have it on while I'm working, it sounds very impressive. But Sevilla aren't exactly lying down, it's not over yet! (And I keep wondering if Figo is there again -- I like to think those Raul kisses were for him.) *stares* Ramos isn't annoying you?! Oh lord, this is bad. *feels forehead* *gets you tea and pillows* (I did love Ray talking about Robben's diving. God I hate that guy.)

1. I have so many qualms about Chivu and Crespo (or, as I like to call them, Chivpo)! It just is somewhat convincing in its combined dorkiness, and plausible desperation. I do like Maniche, but I think he's most of my problem with the possibility of Maniche/Deki. Maybe ( ... )

Well, I do know that Zlatan visited a clinic in Sweden this past Tuesday (with the Inter physio), and they diagnozed him with Patellar tendinopathy or "jumpers knee". They're forcing him to do some sort of "unfortunately very painful physical therapy" for six weeks, in order for him to recover without surgery before the Euros (I understand that he confessed to them that he's been playing on lots of painkillers for the past month). From what I could read, they also did say that he might be able to play on painkillers for a while longer if he started doing the physical therapy, so I guess Mancini wanted to try for a bit longer?

(There's been some Swedish articles lately about how you can almost always tell when Zlatan starts having problems, because he needs to feel ~*~free~*~ (physically/mentally) to play well, and the second he gets unsure of how much his body can handle, he loses his touch. Like the last Juventus season and the WC 06, where he played despite needing tigh-surgery.)

Yeah, I heard the painkillers thing last week (though he can't possibly be the only football playing on those). I just don't understand WHY HE WAS ON THE PITCH. I mean, did you see him? He seriously stood and watched people going up for long balls, and then watched them try to win the second ball. He could hardly move! Surely anyone else could have offered more than that. And I read that he was restricted to one match/game now, too? (Not that's really an issue since Inter are out of the CL and all.)

So supposedly all he needs is therapy to fix this jumper's knee? Not rest, not anything, just PT? Why hasn't he been doing that for the last month?! *throws up hands @ the uselessness of Inter medical team* All wikipedia says is that is must be "treated very conservatively." That sounds like rest, but then this is wikipedia I'm listening to, so ....

Yeah, I did, and it brought back lots of WC 06 memories (all of them bad). Oh dear, he really broke our hearts back then.

Well, all they said what that he should be able to continue playing (it wouldn't affect the therapy) if the coach wanted him too. It wasn't like they specifically recommended for him to continue playing, but they didn't forbid it. And yes, I do wonder why nothing was done sooner - the Swedish NT physio made it sound as though Zlatan contacted them and they set him up with the clinic.

You may have restrained yourself from licking the screen. I was less successful.
