We made plans Friday, and I flew up Thursday morning. Got here about 11 am yesterday. simplydorei really felt it would be this weekend, specifically Sunday.

Edit: Bah, was I loopy and in a hurry yesterday. That was supposed to be flew up SATURDAY morning. The plan was to *stay* til Thursday. roflmao

Thank you! You were very correct. Mom & baby turned out just fine, though I am reluctant to post any birth story or anything until either they do or I talk to them about it. LOL I thought it was just a wonderful birth, though.

Yay Kelly! If you get a chance let her know that Robina (thesaturdaygirl also went into labor yesterday! It's a big birthing weekend.

She had a lovely home birth that went great. She was very surprised to have the baby this early, and on the same day as an lj friend - funny how that stuff works out, huh? We have another mutual lj friend who was due on Oct 31 who still hasn't had her babe yet!

Hope the other lady has just as wonderful a birth!

lol - How does it beat Fl? Florida was very fun, too. :) The only difference that I can tell is that I got the bonus this round of trying (my first ever, actually) a genuine Philly cheesesteak. It was as yum as everyone said.

Thank you so much for the energy and good wishes! All went well, and it was a lovely birth. I don't want to share too much of their birth story without discussing it with them (and letting them get to first!), but I don't think she'd mind if I told you a little. She ended up stalling and not really getting past 3 cms. Because of all the mec, she finally had pitocin, too. That stuff sure gets it going, though! The birth was fairly fast after that, and really beautiful. I'm glad the baby was so perfect. :)

Just the long distance ones, actually. Perhaps I put too much "wait til I get there" energy out and not enough "oh wait, here I am" energy...
