Martel-san? Did you see Ted-san's post? He is asking to make miniature stations of the Welcome Center out in the forest and I do believe that might be a good idea for those who can't reach us in time. What do you think?

What kind of signs?

It's really almost spring? Oh, that's good!

Signs pointing to the Welcome Center. ... Would you like to come over and help?

And yes, if the calendar is correct. It's almost time. Kohaku-chan likes the spring, don't you?

Sure! That sounds fun!

Yes, of course! It's when all the plants start sprouting!

Do you know the way to my room or shall I come fetch you?

And all the flowers bloom. It's a perfect season for you.

Hahaha, I think it's time for you to do some relaxing at home, for once.

If Haruki doesn't throw a spring party, I'm gonna be sorely disappointed.

I'll do just that. Maybe clean this place up a bit.

Does he usually?

Then maybe I have quite a bit to look forward to this spring.

Oh and did you know our neighbor in number 13 makes pandas? I didn't. They're really cute.

That was absolutely sickening. Keep your weird, girly memories of clouds and flowers to yourself. Don't you have any dignity?

Well, no one told you to listen. And they aren't girly - they're perfect for the season.

No one told you to broadcast your sentimental crap for the whole village to hear! And they are girly. Who thinks about flowers!? Honestly, you people...

Someone's full of rage over silly things. Be careful or your face is going to freeze in that grumpy glower.

So~ unattractive.

We have a spring festival, too. It's weird that you have plum and cherry trees, though. Ours is called plumcherry viewing. Lots of festival stuff if you go for that, but it was way too quiet for me. And the Fire Nation has something in the spring, too, but it's all about sunflowers and the sun and fire. They're really obsessed with that stuff.

Oh! So the plums and cherries bloom at the same time? That must be beautiful. What sort of festivals do you like if the plumcherry viewing was too quiet?

[He laughs]
Well, being called the Fire Nation, I can only assume they would be.

There's nothing wrong with a little nostalgia! We didn't really do anything special to celebrate it at home, but I'm looking forward to it anyway. I can't wait until it warms up around here again.

Yes, it'll be nice once all the snow and cold stops, won't it? Perhaps if the cherries bloom here, we can have a party!

eidolon_soul February 22 2010, 22:53:16 UTC
That's as good an excuse to celebrate as any.

I found out there is a tree here, but I need to speak with its owner. Perhaps if she allows it, we can have a smaller party under its branches.
