Kim comes into her room and sits on the bed.
She knows she should feel something - the last words she said should have made her react but instead she just feels...numb. Well, no, she doesn't feel numb exactly, but the anger's no longer there.
And after talking to Chase she was furious because he had been crushed

Chris is here, after deciding that she has to visit Kim and now would be a good time.

She knocks on the door to Kim's room.

"Who is it?" Kim's voice is a little strained.

'Please don't be dad...'

[geeky_agent]

"It's Chris," she calls out.

"I just wanted to see how you were."

[agirllost]

"Yeah, just a minute."

Kim rubs at her eyes and dries off her face with a tissue. She throws the tissue away and answers the door.

"Hi."
