I got the internship at the International Center of Photography!

My summer:
July- Worked at GameStop >_<
End of July- Quit GameStop, Visited family in Utah, and Oregon.
August- Go Congress...brother visited for a few days...and JOB SEARCHING

So, the job search is pretty much very boring.  I did have an interview this week...but either way I'm not taking the job because it's not worth it.

HP OOTP Midnight showing tonight, want to come?
I have two tickets and noone to go with me.  Everyone else backed out.
I am quite a sad hippogriff right now.

Yesterday I gave my notice at GameStop.
I feel a bit relieved.

I was trying to quickly finish up with closing the store; when the phone rang at work half an hour after we closed.

"Hello,thank you for calling Funcoland, this is Carrie speaking."

"Hi...Is this Funcoland?"

"Yes."

"Oh... may I speak to one of the guys that works there?"

Today, after dropping Saul off at work, I stopped at a red light.  Listening to Sibelius on the radio, (Finlandia was playing on NPR) I noticed a wall of fat snow flakes coming down the street.  Something that I've only really seen before on the plains of the midwest, or in the vast deserts of Utah, I could see the weather coming at me, snow ( Read more... )

For those who were wondering, yes, I did get the promotion.  I closed and opened the store all by myself last week, and I only set off the alarms once.  ^^  oops??
