[Quietly reading an ENORMOUS tome when she suddenly shouts.]

Baal?! BAAL?!

Baal is featured in the Lemegeton?!

[Flips through the pages quickly.]

I...why did I not know this already? He has a larger section devoted to him than Mephistopholes Professor Advocat has. Grimlet, too! I suppose this should be no surprise. I had little reason to read ( Read more... )

Well, that's why I need to...prepare. I've had to deal with some high-level demons and devils before and preparing beforehand is VERY important.

In theory, this tome is supposed to control any demon or devil I want, so...if I can summon him, I'll likely be able to control him.

I hope.

You're going to try and summon Baal?

Yup! Assuming I don't find any reason not to, of course.

Oh, I know it may sound foolish, but I actually have quite a bit of experience with this sort of thing.

So how powerful is this Baal guy anyway? I mean, 'god' doesn't really say much. I've fought several gods before, and lemme tell you, their power varied widely. I mean, it was always high, but the distinction matters.

I can't say for sure, but in my world, there was only one God and for someone like King Solomon to even compare Baal to a god means Baal is surely incredibly powerful.

He was able to cross space and dimensions to kidnap all of us without us noticing, after all.

Oh... well that's a lot of help.

Anyway, if you're gonna summon him, I'm down with helping you out. Or alternatively helping you kick his ass in.

I appreciate the offer. Offers, rather. I may need to take you up on both of them.

Now that is actually interesting. Mind letting me have a look?

Oh. Sure.

Just a look, though. No...touching. It's an...antique of sorts, after all.

More of this magic nonsense. How am I supposed to work with such ridiculous circumstances?

You don't run out of ideas, do you?
