Baal?! BAAL?!

Baal is featured in the Lemegeton?!

[Flips through the pages quickly.]

I...why did I not know this already? He has a larger section devoted to him than Mephistopholes Professor Advocat has. Grimlet, too! I suppose this should be no surprise. I had little reason to read ( Read more... )

More appropriate descriptors that come to mind are those such as, IDIOTIC, INSANE, HUBRIS, and all other variations of A BAD IDEA!

Orpheus. Dr. Orpheus.

If I felt there was any chance at all of defeating Baal, I would have tried it myself. I don't know how powerful you are, but Baal existed at the creation of the universe, and has kept his position as the greatest of demons through thirteen billion years of dealing with coup d'etat's, assassinations, and invasions.

I outwitted one of Hell's most powerful devils and trapped him forever within Hell itself and, in the process, completely destroyed his reputation, which he spent millions of years developing.

I also have a habit of making Mephistopheles do whatever I want, even without the use of magic.
