He was one of those actors who was woven tightly into what was going on in my life at a very hard time and kind of shaped things. It's hard not to feel emotional about it, even though it was a long time ago and I couldn't claim to be his *biggest* fan.

He gave us decades of amazing performances and saw me through a personally difficult period in my life - I feel quite emotional as well. Don't be embarrassed - He deserves our honest affection after giving us so much of his own.
