I *swear* I'm not on drugs. A little too much caffine, maybe...

I can't explain it... (It's probably just a side effect of the stress and depression.) I am completely, utterly, obsessively *consumed* with identifying The Wanderer's china pattern (and obtaining a tea cup.)

HELP.

Here are source caps...

Geekiest caps in the world... )

I don't know of any sources, but please oh please let us know if you identify it. SO gorgeous.

I'm really not into flowers, but the teacup isn't so bad - and I'm starting to think that there are *two* different cups... Not as impossible as it sounds - My Mother's formal set has a coffee version and a tea version. The cups I *did* like seem to be rounder and I really didn't think there was a flower on the saucer... Then, in other shots, the cups have that flower and the lip of the cup looks like it has a little flare...?

In any case - does it tickle you as much as I that the Lads appear to be drinking *tea* more often than not? Either that, or the coffee they are getting is so freakishly thin, it's scandalous.

Hmm, maybe Replacements Ltd. could help.

Oh wait, you already said you'd looked at Replacements. But you can still try emailing them the pictures!

I will continue to dig around at Replacements.com - The site is just so huge, and the keywords so random, that it's not impossible the info is sitting there and I just haven't found it. And yeah, I could email them - Maybe I'll do that if I get the courage up. I have *other* tea cups that I've been trying to track down for years I still haven't gotten around to photographing and emailing them - Perhaps it's time to get around to that chore.

It's located right near me! In fact one of my coworkers used to work there. Come and take a tour of the place and you can stay with me! You can sleep in Stephen's tiny hammock.

I think there's two cup shapes too. The one he's holding has more flare towards the lip, but the other one is just roundy roundy.

Is it this? Wedgwood Florentine:

It's not (pattern differences and the pieces of the set are completely different shapes,) but that one, specific teacup is VERY close - I kept winding up at this pattern when I was searching, but would see upon closer inspection that it wasn't the one. But I didn't see that teacup - If I don't find the actual pattern, it will be a good substitute. There are a couple of different variations on this pattern theme in Wedgwood, but none are exactly right - and the shapes are all wrong.

I've found *several* patterns that are close (it's a pretty common theme as it turns out,) but not the right ones. And three or four companies seem like they have lines that are of the same theme and may be the manufacturer, Wedgwood included. I continue to hunt.
