I am *really* happy with that head - If I don't go out of town this weekend, I may attempt the repaint. And the suits just got here today and they are PERFECT. I'll start sewing up those shirts soon and it won't be long before he really starts looking as he should. :))) This will be an ongoing hobby - I have a thousand ideas and I only know how to make half of them... I'm using this as a "hands on" learning experience.
I honestly couldn't read the address in the box in the screen cap I had... I did my best. Yeah, he's chomping on a slice. It only occurred to me *after* I posted the picture that I should have stuck a hanky in his collar... I'm too lazy to reshoot it.
The trousers are from one of the suits - I've managed to buy exact replicas of the one above (the very tiny pinstripe), the gangster black & white larger pinstripe (minus a waistcoat), and a simple black suit. Which pretty much covers it (if I can sew a waistcoat that somewhat matches the gangster stripe.) I think he has a very dark blue suit as well, but it's a bit hard to tell on screen.
Another great song - I'm gonna have to download it and listen to it a couple of times in the dark though to really get the impact.
Yes, there is going to be a Jack as well - I pretty much have them both entirely outfitted from eBay and have plans to make the missing bits (some of Ianto's shirts and ties.) If you hit the minithem_project tag you will get all my ramblings about the project. I grabbed that pink shirt but may make a better one later. The only really big part missing from this is the custom heads. I'm going to do the best I can by repainting the closest one's I could find (the blond up there will eventually look more like Ianto,) but that won't really be all that convincing. Do you know anyone who does that for money?
Anyway, welcome. Hope I don't freak you out - My journal is all over the place (I have a gazillion fandoms) and I can be a bit PASSIONATE at times. :-)
