Something that bugs me

I'm pretty damn easy when it comes to details in shows/movies - Details just don't concern me...  But I'm totally obsessed with one thing that bugs the shit out of me in cop shows (both old and new.)  And I can't believe how often it happens:

1) Someone gets killed - We, the audience, see the side characters at the crime scene and all the shiny

I also like it when they show white guys in suits standing around drinking coffee--as if it's a day picnic and someone brought their ginormous Mr. Coffee along. :)

The best show I've seen (by far) for getting the forensic stuff right is The Closer. CSI doesn't even come close, and the Law and Order shows make things way too convenient

LOL! You win about CSI (on my list of violators) even though the drama level created by this sequence is pretty obviously about, well... Drama Level. Not forensic accuracy.

But your arguments don't excuse *any* show I've seen this in through the 70s or 80s. :-)
