Chicago has been really nice to me. And so has kelsey. She's been a really great host. I like her so much. Is it weird to think that I can't think of growing up without her? Growing up is not cool. Monday I went on a scavenger hunt. It was pretty much what I needed to get out of my angry mood. Our team came in second, but I still loved it. I was happy I did it. ( This should be a giant post about what has happened over the past week. But I'm in a terrible mood and cannot bring myself to update all of the crazy shit that has happened over the past week. I mean, there were good things too, but I'm too focused on the negative right now to really show the bright side of what happened this week. So I'll give you a very dry overview and perhaps if you ask question, I'll be in a better mood and I could answer them for you. I really do hope everyone had a great week though! )

( So Wednesday and today I went to the store so I could get some lunch. But ordering lunch was very difficult. I was just trying to communicate to the guy that I wanted three artichoke hearts for lunch, but he could not understand the number of fingers I was holding up. So it was quite a production in order to get some food. Then today I wanted to order a sandwich. The guy I was trying to order from was there but he wasn't the one I talked today. I saw him and he saw me as I was trying to talk to the girl about what to order and we both just smiled and kind of chuckled at each other because we both knew I basically speak no Italian. So that was another chore to order a sandwich from the lady. I just wanted some meat and cheese on bread. I think it took me like an extra three minutes to tell her I wanted a panini. But I think next time I'll just have a few phrases ready so I can make ordering a sandwich a little easier. )

Well, I'm back from Florence...and there's probably a ton to tell everyone about how great it was...but who knows if I could remember it all. I'll just try to give a rundown of what happened.
