Monday we went to the Catacombs and about four different churches. One of the churches is said to be the one where Jesus walked up the stairs on his knees to have a trial with Pontius Pilot. Some of our group walked up those stairs on their knees. We could not take pictures of the catacombs, though I really wanted to.
Tuesday we did nothing because our guide had a family emergency and had to leave us for a few days.
Wednesday was a free day and I went to the Jewish ghetto of town and walked around for the whole day.
Thursday we went to the Palatine Hill which is much better than the Forum. But you had to pay to get in, so I doubt I'll be going back there again. haha
Friday we went to Naples on a bullet train. Then we walked around the city and went to Pompeii for the night.
Saturday we toured Pompeii in the morning and had the rest of the day to catch up on homework and walk the town.
Sunday we went to the beach in Naples and came back to Rome on the bullet train.
Overall, with the weekend at least, our guide is the reason I am pissed.
Though there were of course lots of good things about the week, but I'll tell about them later.
