Pray for my mom. She's having some surgey on her leg this morning.

(For those of you who don't know, she had her left leg amputated to just below the knee back in the summer of 2003. She's having to have a little more taken off today due to some problems with the bone.

I hope this is the last time they have to cut on my poor mama. I don't like it

Please pray for my mother. Her doctor thinks she has cancer(cervical and maybe colon.) She will have more tests tomorrow.

We're scared, but trying to trust God. That's life on planet Earth in the present order.

Pray that she'll have peace and for healing.

From what my daddy told me today, a specialist came in today and told him it was an infection. So, it looks like it's NOT CANCER. Again, sometimes my daddy doesn't understand what the doctor is trying to tell him, but hopefully he understood that part correctly.

The man who is married to my grandmother (I don't know if step-grandfather is a real term...probably so, in this age of generations of shattered mariages) has been in the ICU. He's had a number of health problems over the last few years. He's in his 80s, afterall. We haven't always been terribly close, but I love him and don't want to see him ( Read more... )

While I have been concerned for the victims of the Hurricane down in Lousiana and Mississippi, I have to confess I haven't been as concerned as I should be. My heart hasn't been broken like it should be. I haven't mourned with those people like I should have ( Read more... )

Daddy's still in the hospital. The did an MRI and found that two of the bones in his back were "abnormal." The doctor said they wouldn't know more until they did a bone-scan and biopsy on Monday ( Read more... )

Continue to pray. My dad is going in the hospital. His potasium levels are really high and his sodium levels low. The doctor doesn't like that and wants to figure out what's going on.

I hope his kidneys are OK.

Pray for my father. He's been having various health problems lately and today a doctor did some tests and told him he was "very sick" and that he would need to see a specialist of some kind. She couldn't be more specific until she gets some test results in the morning.
