 Saw friends C. and M. this morning, which was delightful.  It's M.'s birthday, and it was really nice to be able to celebrate with her and C.  We went to a shop called Afternoon Delight.  It reminded me a little bit of some of the breakfast places we used to go to in Boulder, which was fun.  It made me feel less alone in this place to see some

Yep, they're close by and terrific, and it really helps to have people nearby. And Toronto is not too far either, and I'm totally thrilled to be close enough to come up and visit you. And you've got to come down and see my place. Good, good, good wishes to you in your last days with your family. Real life is coming soon!

I completely agree, it was wonderful to see you guys. How was the concert? And the trampoline? We went out and picked blueberries today, which was great. I'll definitely come up and work on your house, too! And I definitely want to plan a get-together soon. I'm so glad you guys are here!

it was weird today...as katherine and i were leaving the meeting, i told her, "if kelly were here, she would probably say..." about some COF changes.

Fall is awesome in Oregon as well. I'm excited about it here. It's rainy rainy today and I love it. I spent three hours at the secretary of state office getting a drivers license...

I keep seeing people who make me think of you. Not sure if it's just because being here makes me think of you or if there's some sort of Michigan look that you have.
