Why does Selene persist in trying to kill me? I didn't ask her to zap Penny, I didn't ask Upstairs to yell at her for it, so why does it all get taken out on me?

*Pats* There there. Sometimes I'm thankful I don't have an Asassin as a partner. And sometimes I'm even thankful I don't have to work with anyone! Hee. You can always seek peace and quiet in the morale office. It's empty, but has the comfiest chairs imaginable!

But then, the SO get a wee bit testy when people leave their partners. And I don't actually have a home... well, not outside of HQ.

Listen you aren't married to your partner. If and when you ever loose your partner through the eternal shuffling that is the PPC you probably won't ever see her again.

Also, you're always welcome to crash at my place if you need to get away.

When you've come back from a very stressful meeting, being commanded to do things you don't like and knowing that you're still on probation and then your partner makes a glib comment - Well, I think my response is justified.
And if I was really trying to kill you I would have.
However, I like Thanduril and wouldn't want to leave him as an orphan.
