So glad I'm not a Potterverse agent. Dealing with new Canon material is a horrible thing. Although, what with these occasional forays into Discworld, I suppose I'm worse off.

Oh well. At least Discworld doesn't have movies.

Define 'movies'. They're making animated versions of some of the Discworld books, I know that much.

Oh, those. They never saw much circulation. -- I assume you mean the Wyrd Sisters and Soul Music animated series'. [Looks wary] There's not something else they're doing, is there?

But by movies, I was referring to mainstream, cinema, let's-introduce-fangirls-who-can't-read-anything-other-than-txtspk-to-the-omghott!!1-characters stuff. [Shudders]

I'm just praying, if they ever DO do a real Discworld movie, they won't, you know, hottie-fy Rincewind. The poor guy suffers enough in the canon without getting some hot actor cast as him to snag the teen fangirl demographic.
