This just to say that L. and I have broken up.  I was the instigator.  I'm now moving my stuff back to Oregon and my parents' house.  I'm migrating to a new journal.

 Also, Sunday nights are VERY weird, since L. works until midnight at the library and then needs a ride home, since the buses are no longer running then.  So I get to stay up until midnight all by myself.  Call me if you are bored, because I am just cleaning my apartment some more...

 Saw friends C. and M. this morning, which was delightful.  It's M.'s birthday, and it was really nice to be able to celebrate with her and C.  We went to a shop called Afternoon Delight.  It reminded me a little bit of some of the breakfast places we used to go to in Boulder, which was fun.  It made me feel less alone in this place to see some ( Read more... )

I hate when I come back to the computer and it shows that there's been some sort of an event on skype, and I get all excited thinking it's someone I know, and then it turns out to be merely a request to join someone for a sex chat of some kind.  I always feel so disappointed.

 Yesterday, we bought a run-down table and four chairs from two lovely ladies that are selling everything because they're being foreclosed.  I was sad not to be able to buy anything else from them, as they had a lot of really beautiful furniture.  Their names are Jane and Irene, and they have been married for thirteen years.  They were very sweet ( Read more... )

 By the way, I occasionally post a friends-only sort of thing.  It's not often, just when I want to know who's reading it.  If you friend me, I'll friend you back, unless you're a total stranger, and even then I might.  I don't think I have anybody who reads that I don't know about, but just fyi.
