I can't help myself, I have to make a Jack/Gwen vid. I've tried to fight the impulse but... *sigh* Veronica teh evol vidding muse just will not be denied! So I started it last night but immediately ran into a problem.

Isn't that amazing how that happens like that sometimes? :D *hugs*

I got the code changer from here. ;) However, be SURE that when you follow the instructions where it says to type in "DivX" in both boxes, that you type in "DIVX" in all caps in both boxes or it'll turn your footage upside-down and backwards! O_O

However, that still won't give you audio on .AVI footage in Vegas, sad to say. :S But good ol' WMM will with .AVI, so what I would suggest doing, if it's something that you definitely want to put together in Vegas, to go through and basically use WMM to clip out the scenes you need, then render them into .WMV together one right after another, then import that into Vegas and it should work perfectly with audio and everything! :D If you're just doing basic clips and don't need multiple timelines or fancy titles or whatever, then you can just render your final vid with WMM. It's trusty for simple things like that, or so I've found, lol! ;)

Yeah, I was having Big Time Fun figuring all of that out today, lol! ;) I had to do goofy pics *Veronica throws another lightning bolt* :P and look for pics of everybody I know on the phone ;) just to keep from falling into a well and proper vidding rant! ;)

I once jokingly said I was the Invisible Woman and that was right as the first Fantastic Four movie was coming out with Jessica Alba in that role. I've used her to represent "me" ever since then! ;)

Thanks! It's going together fairly quickly. I hope to have it done this next week or so (my version of "quickly" is in a week, lol! ;) ). I'm really enjoying it so far, though, so I hope that other people will as well. It's turning out a lot more romantic and angsty than I expected. ;) *hugs* ♥!
