Yes. Though when it comes to my dad, it's more double standards than outright hypocrisy. He'll justify it by saying he spent x-number of hours job hunting, or what have you, which is fine. Work before play and all that. But when I spend my days off doing the game stuff, it's somehow unacceptable because I'm not "doing something constructive."
*cuddles* My days seem to run together too but I really don't envy yours! If he spent X time job hunting, suddenly somehow your same X time AT work doesn't count? Pssh. Have a puppy.
To him it would maybe count if I was getting more than 2 shifts a week? I dunno. And he's still harping on me about job searching and still going so far as to job search for me (e.g. "Indigo's back on-line with looking for people. Have you called them back yet?" etc.)

Oh uggggh I hate the overhelpfulness. Makes one want to dig in their heels and NOT do anything of the sort.
