Tonight, Goodwin and I were in the closet with Angus.  Goodwin had him wrapped up in a towel, and I’d set up the IV.  Angus didn’t fuss about the needle going in, or the fluids starting, but he complained after a few minutes of having to stay still.  After I clasped the flow of fluids and removed the needle, Goodwin set him loose, and he walked ( Read more... )

This weekend, we discovered there’d been an horrific assault on our patio plants by evil aphids.  They mostly inhabited our Thai pepper plant, which had been the healthiest of our patio-garden plants, but had clearly begun to spread to conquer more territory.

so i've not posted for a long time, i just realized.  i'll have to grossly  abbreviate the last while.

greek class has been going really nicely.  it's a little disorganized, and it's taken a long time for me to get the hang of it, but we had a review session where all the fine tuning was addressed, and i can at least conjugate regular verbs now ( ( Read more... )

I’ve also resigned my spot at the day spa.
