Dear new step-father:
A great way to win my enmity is to laugh and point at me for something stupid (I put candles in the bathroom for my bath-why is that so funny?!) and then tell me not to be mad at you after I glare at you, while still laughing at me. kthxbye
no love

Without a doubt, it is one of most thought-provoking, influential (on mylife at least) books I have ever read.

I could use a mini-reading list to pass the time over the summer...can you give me five books you recommend?

I'd recommend some to you, but no doubt you've read all of them...unless you can track down The War Between the Pitiful Teachers and the Splendid Kids by Stanley Kiesel (I'm pretty sure that's the last name). It's a young adult-type book, but it's mildly entertaining.

You will absolutely positively have to be more specific in that request. Give me a few books you loved and a few favorite writers, and I'll be able to give you something.

Ah, don't be so sure. Matt put on my list Stranger in a Strange Land and To Kill a Mockingbird, both of which are "classics" and neither of which I've ever read.
You got the title and author right-it's out of print but Amazon has 44 used and new copies starting at 98 cents. Only mildly entertaining?
Also-I LIVE for young adult books.

oh i was like, "i have those books!" and then i realized, "nope, didn't borrow them. just have a few of them..." i thought you were asking to borrow them from me when i read the first sentence. oops.

and candles and a bath is NOT stupid. that's the best combination since bread & jelly.
