I think there need to be a few changes in the way things are done, around here. We've allowed our grief to best us, in the fight for survival. We hold to our homes, rarely venturing beyond the tasks we already know, fearing the extinction of our race and yet inviting it by our own inaction

Every person here is irreplaceable, Daniel, and no one is attempting to use that for their personal control. Maybe you should practice the spirit of cooperation you're preaching and follow their example.

I agree with you, Daniel. We have to work together; we have to help each other, or we'll never survive. I have come to accept both Sylar and Adam; they both - even Adam - deserve another chance. And, as you suggested, I will make sure that I don't meet you in person, as not to acquire your ability. I can only hope that you use it wisely; it seems like a very dangerous power to have. My only complaint with you is that you've kicked David out of your house. But I guess he can find his own place to live. If not, he can join us.

I am sorry about David. However, if I am to develop emotional control as fine-tuned as I am capable of, I can't have someone in the house who can disrupt that process.
