Lovely descriptions. Reading about her breathing always makes me think of that horrible (in that, that sounds incredibly painful horrible) rasp she makes.

My brain is now kicking around 'is Laura perhaps a bit suicidal at this point in her life, or is she just very expectant of the end?'

Thanks! I think while Laura was of course very good about soldiering on through her illnesses, so to speak, part of her humanity is expressed through her acceptance of and sometimes even embracing her impending death-- and that in season 2, she wouldn't have had the strong "I'm not ready" reaction that she did the second time around.

Really annoyed with myself for not having a "Faith" icon right now...

Wonderful piece of writing. So distressing and her disappointment is so painful. I am torn by her feelings and choices in this, but when you consider what she was dealing with on a day to day basis, most people would have cracked and given up long ago. Great work!!
