i'm alive. i was in atlantic city last night until 3 am. i got stuck there while waiting for my co-manager to finish her 2 hours of craps. her parents are big gamblers, and i think her genetic tendancies are starting to express themselves. i won $12 on slots, by the way

Hmmm. The thing that makes me feel the most out of my country/time. Well, it's a bit silly, but sleeping in public. Totally acceptable in Hyde Park, no matter whether you were in a University space or not. Everyone just assumed you were working your ass off and needed all the shut-eye you could muster, even if you happened to be in the lobby of Harper and drooling on your Soc notes. Not so much in the real world, sadly. Makes me feel old.

I am going to see "Mean Girls" with our mutual Ben tomorrow night.

Jessica Simpson. I just don't understand why she is popular. how can people think she is worthy of attention at all? also George Bush. I just DO NOT understand how anyone could possibly view him as a capable or intelligent leader of this country.
