a quick post
i'm alive. i was in atlantic city last night until 3 am. i got stuck there while waiting for my co-manager to finish her 2 hours of craps. her parents are big gamblers, and i think her genetic tendancies are starting to express themselves. i won $12 on slots, by the way.
sat on the beach all day, reading and listening to music other than incubus, which is the music of choice among people here. at least, those who don't like CMT.
question of the day: what aspect of our society makes you feel most like you come from another country or time? the theme for me this week is homophobia. i guess i forgot about it, given where we went to school, but it is very very alive here. one of those "i don't agree with the lifestyle, but i'm not going to not be friends with someone because of it" and i'll make gay jokes all the time... kind of thing.
hope all the moving stuff is going well. miss you all. a lot.
