food help!

My parents are coming to visit for the first time, for my graduating recital, which is stressful enough. But I also have to think of a place for us to go to dinner tomorrow night. I need helpful suggestions please ( Read more... )

The Pickle Barrel has an enormous menu that can most likely accommodate all common dietary needs. They're right at Yonge and Dundas. And they're pretty tasty. And not terribly expensive. The sort of place parents like taking their kids for food (the only reason I know what it's like!).

I know there are some good Thai and Indian places up Yonge but I'm not as familiar with them.

when my parents are here i take them to this place called Faema at christie and dupont. it's an auto showroom and it's reasonably priced and we are always happy with the food.
also, utopia on college is really good. but gets busy.
oh! and the victory cafe is good, but maybe not nice enough. I like their veggies fare and you an get a brewskie.
also....
oh....but location....I don't know that area very well. maybe just walk around and look for something. it's dense there...

My parents LOVE Spring Rolls- and it's right at Yonge and Dundas. They also liked the Victory Cafe!

They flip out over Greektown though. haha.
