The Pickle Barrel has an enormous menu that can most likely accommodate all common dietary needs. They're right at Yonge and Dundas. And they're pretty tasty. And not terribly expensive. The sort of place parents like taking their kids for food (the only reason I know what it's like!).

when my parents are here i take them to this place called Faema at christie and dupont. it's an auto showroom and it's reasonably priced and we are always happy with the food. also, utopia on college is really good. but gets busy. oh! and the victory cafe is good, but maybe not nice enough. I like their veggies fare and you an get a brewskie. also.... oh....but location....I don't know that area very well. maybe just walk around and look for something. it's dense there...
