Alberta has joined the heat wave that much of North America has been trapped in for the last few weeks. Thankfully our temperatures are not quite at hot but yesterday afternoon the temperature with the humidity felt like 39 C or 102.2 F. That is way too hot for me. The heat wave is supposed to last through til next Monday

Thank you. It was fun despite the heat. I think besides watching our granddaughter opening her gifts the ice cream was my favorite.

I like opera too, although I'm not familiar with many. I really like Madame Butterfly, particularly her aria just before she commits suicide. It gives me chills.

The flowers are beautiful! I like your favors too. We used 1 Corinthians 4-8 for our wedding favors 35 years ago. It must have been hard selecting the music, so many choices.

Have fun celebrating your granddaughters birthday, tacos & ice cream are a good choice.

When I first read this post, I was emotionally moved by the beauty of it all, bouquets, bands (music) and baubles, all done to perfection. It's no wonder that I love you as much today as when we first married, you're a marvelous lady, my anchor and compass all in one. Without you, I'd be, if not completely lost, at the very least truly disoriented.

I can barely contain myself waiting for the days to pass until I can walk you down the ailse and declare to all my love for you.

Thank you. I might be a little far away for an anniversary planner. LOL I did mention to our oldest that it was fun and perhaps it would be something to do. Then I thought again and decided that I didn't need the stress of dealing with bridezillas. How many years for you?
