When we lived in Virgina Hubby would often drive by someone selling roses on the side of the road. They were on the opposite side so stopping during the daily drive home would have been difficult. He would come home and tell me "I almost bought you a rose today". It became something of a running gag between us. Occasionally he would send me flowers

They feel pretty good surprisingly.
The roses were a nice surprise and they are holding up well.
